Few things can be as much as important as weight bench in terms of building an attractive and sound body. Weight benches are used for a variety of bodybuilding exercises, such as, bench press, leg pullovers, shoulder presses, etc. If you have bought one, then start using it as early as possible. But, before you start you must know how to assemble weight bench. It is not any Herculean task to assemble this bench, but just needs little time and effort. Let us tell how.

First and the foremost step is to make sure that you have all the parts and tools with you. The weight bench includes part like:

  • Large Washer
  • Washer
  • Nylon Locknut
  • Bolt
  • Screw

All these parts come in more than one categories and numbers. So, you should check that you have each category in adequate amount. You can take the help of the manual for further assurance.

Now, get started with the upright beams. Attach the cross brace with the left and right upright beams. Make sure to tighten them with carriage bolts. Place the backrest adjustment bar on a slot on the upright beams.

The next step is related to attaching the main seat support beam. You can connect it to the cross brace with two carriage bolts, two washers and two nuts. Avoid tightening it completely, the way you tightened upright beams. You can tighten the nuts lightly.

Afterwards, attach the main seat support beam to the front post using three Allen bolt and one washer. By using one Allen bolt, two washers and one aircraft nut, attach the other end of the diagonal support. Again, avoid tightening it completely.

Step 5 : Working with the front post

Take the arm curl stand and place it securely in the front post with a lock knob. In this case, tighten the nuts and bolts completely. Now, with the help of Allen bolt, two washers and one aircraft nut, attach the leg developer to the bracket. The arm curl handle should be placed properly to the open bracket on the leg develop with the L-shaped lock pin.

Step 6 : Connecting backrest supports

The backrest supports need to be adjusted to both the ends of the pivot arm on the main seat support beam and lay the other ends on the backrest supports on the backrest adjustment bar. Use four hex bolts and four washers to connect the backrest board to the support and secure the seat paid to the main seat support.

The lasts step requires using two Allen bolts and two washers to attach preacher pad to the arm curl stand. Place two foam tubes halfway through the holes on the leg developer and slide the four foam rolls onto the ends of the tubes.
